The Worst Animals To Keep As Pets

Alligator

When you keep an alligator as a pet, you're asking for trouble. Do you think they'll fit in with the family and sleep in your bed at night? Consider again.

These creatures were not designed to be kept as pets. Alligators like to fool people into thinking they're not that fast or that their behavior is predictable,

yet neither of these assumptions is correct. Never presume you can predict what an alligator would do or that you can outrun one.

Armadillo

Armadillos are prone to parasites and pests, and they are susceptible to diseases such as leprosy and malaria. It will be difficult to locate a veterinarian who will treat an armadillo, let alone an armadillo with a sickness.

Armadillos aren't particularly social either. They get into battles with other armadillos and require plenty of room to roam and dig.

Don't forget about their razor-sharp claws, which cause damage to practically everything they come into contact with, even your patio furniture.

Arctic Fox

Arctic foxes are incredibly beautiful and easily tamed creatures. However, no matter how much you work with them, you will never entirely domesticate them.

They can be educated to coexist with humans, but they will always pose a threat. They'll always be wild creatures, and you never know when they'll snap at you, bite you, or do something worse.

You also can't have any other small pets because the Arctic fox would only see them as food.
