Sempels said McDonald's will test larger burgers in a few markets before rolling them out globally
McDonald's CEO Chris Kempczinski told CNN yesterday that the US is one of its markets for these large burgers.
"In the U.S., across a number of markets, around the world, having a larger burger is an opportunity," said Kempczinski. "Working on that. Expect that in the future."
Kempczinski and Sempels were ambiguous regarding these larger burgers' menu debuts. Despite being larger, Kempczinski said the new burgers won't be expensive.
"We think we're going to be able to deliver a great tasting large burger at a superior value to what [customers] can get anywhere else," Kempczinski said.
