Nearly a year after Dairy Queen dropped the Cherry Dipped Cone, which devastated fans, it is returning to menus.
In a recent video, Dairy Queen district manager @dqshelbytwpmi revealed that Cherry Dipped Cones will return "owing to popular demand."Dairy Queen confirmed to Eat This, Not That! that the menu item is returning.
"We know our fans love the Cherry Dipped Cone, and we're excited to bring this sweet offering back for a limited time at participating locations," Dairy Queen stated in a release.
"We constantly add new and fan-favorite flavors to our dipped cone selection. For the latest DQ flavor and product updates, follow us on social media."
Dairy Queen did not react to a follow-up request regarding timing of Cherry Dipped Cones' return. The Dairy Queen district manager who posted on TikTok was likewise unsure of the restart date.

Miranda was the first to report Cherry Dipped Cones' removal from menus in a popular May 2023 TikTok video with millions of views. Dairy Queen informed various media sites that the item was being discontinued. Customers took the news badly, to say the least.

It's not a surprise that Cherry Dipped Cones are returning as Dairy Queen didn't rule out their comeback.Dairy Queen is discontinuing the Cherry Dipped Cone. However, DQ rotates dipped cone flavors, so Cherry Dipped Cones may return.
Last May, a Dairy Queen spokesman told Today.com that fans should ask their local DQ about varieties.
Recently, Dairy Queen introduced a Confetti Cake Dipped Cone for spring. Dairy Queen's vanilla soft serve is dipped in a white cone with rainbow confetti. According to People, the cones will only be available for a limited time, so don't wait.
